Sustainability in travel is becoming an increasingly important issue: especially in the current times when many people are paying even more attention to the environmental friendliness of products or services, it is also important for tourism to evolve and meet the requirements of guests.

Did you know that according to 2019 surveys, a tourist on the Balearic Islands consumes up to 300 litres of water per day of their stay?

Sustainable measures that have already been implemented as far as technically possible:

Installation of a fully biological small wastewater treatment plant (CE EN 12566-3+A2) to obtain suitable water for watering the garden
Installation of water-saving flow restrictors and taps
Installation of energy-saving flush buttons for the toilet flush
Replacement of conventional incandescent, halogen and fluorescent lamps with energy-saving LED lamps, halogen and fluorescent lamps with energy-saving LED lamps
Installation of a solar thermal system for generating hot water
Installation of automatic deactivation of the air conditioning systems when windows and doors are open

Sustainable measures that are still planned to be implemented:

Installation of a photovoltaic system to generate electricity from solar energy
Installation of a charging station for electric cars
Introduction of sustainable hotel cosmetics with a refillable dispenser system to avoid bottles and sachets
