Things to know about Can Tunicu and frequently asked questions
FINCA CAN TUNICU - IBIZA - FAQ

Even if you don’t have any specific questions yet, be sure to read the notes below before booking!

The rent of a car at the airport is essential and necessary to get to Can Tunicu and from there everywhere! It does not necessarily have to be a four-wheel drive vehicle, but should be reasonably off-road or at least a no lowered car as the private access road in particular (approx. 300 m or 1,000 ft) is steep and bumpy, made of stones, chippings and soil only.

Can Tunicu is unfortunately not barrier-free or handicapped accessible! Due to its location on a mountain with mainly uneven paths as well as the nature of the house (numerous steps and stairs), we cannot recommend the house for wheelchair users or guests with reduced mobility.

Furthermore, we ask you to refrain from making reservations with children under the age of 12, as the extensive property is only partially surrounded by natural stone walls, is difficult to survey and borders on slopes with steep inclines at several places. The rocky ground can also quickly become a an injury risk for children.

To avoid any misunderstandings, we would like to mention before booking that Can Tunicu is not a so-called luxury finca or luxury villa, nor was it built for the sole purpose of being rented out to tourists as a holiday home or holiday villa on Ibiza, as many other houses are.

In the dry summer months in particular, there is an extremely high risk of forest fires across the entire island. At Can Tunicu, smoking is therefore only permitted on the terrace, regardless of the current risk situation. Please do never throw the stubs of your cigarette on the ground but always use an ashtray.

We would also like to point out that in Ibiza, as on the other isles of the Balearic Islands, there are legal restrictions on lighting fires in or near wooded areas between the 1st of May and the 15th of October, and that these are monitored by the forestry authorities. Talk to us if you are planning a barbecue.

Pets are normally not allowed.
