Can Tunicu is known for being located in a rural area where there is currently no fiber optic internet connection available. However, you don't have to go without stable, reliable, and fast internet! We have installed our own outdoor antenna, which is the third generation "V3" (Cross Polarized [XPOL], mobile band, 2x2 MIMO). In conjunction with a downstream router, this provides internet access via CAT7 cable to all four smart TVs as well as the Wi-Fi stations inside and outside the house. Whether you just want to check and send emails or WhatsApp messages, play computer games, or stream videos, the internet at Can Tunicu allows you to do so without any hassle. There is a telephone in the house that can be used free of charge for calls within Spain. The walls of almost all rooms in the house are decorated with mainly real paintings, drawings, graphics or art prints.
The kitchen, accessible from the small terrace, features a separate pantry housing a freestanding fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The kitchen area features a brick bench with a table, and opposite is the work/cooking area in typical country-house style.

The dining room is on the same level as the kitchen, which it connects to through an arched door. In addition to a sideboard, a carved sideboard, and a side table, there is a large dining table with matching chairs. All furniture is made of solid wood. A built-in split air conditioning system provides cooling or heating in the dining and living rooms, depending on the season. This area also has an electric radiator for extreme winters, which are quite rare, however. Two wide steps along the long side of the room lead into the slightly lower living room. → approx. 25 m² (269 sq ft) → air conditioning → electric radiators
The living room is the central and largest room in the house. It features an impressive fireplace made of carved stone. A cast-iron stove was installed to improve heating efficiency during the colder months. A dowry chest that has been in the family for several centuries is located directly below the smart TV, where the WiFi router and telephone are also located. A round glass table on an old wagon wheel, a designer couch and four leather armchairs, along with an antique display cabinet imported from China, complete the picture. A staircase leads upstairs to the master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, and four steps down to the half-bedroom and vintage bathroom. Another bedroom is located behind the fireplace and is accessed via a step. A double-winged arched door leads directly to the main terrace. → approx. 30 m² (323 sq ft) → LG Smart TV 55” C15LA HDR Dolby Vision OLED WebOS 6 → TV via Internet, satellite and TDT Antenna (= digital terrestrial TV) → router ASUS RT-AC57U V3 AC1200 → landline telephone
This bedroom is partially furnished with typical Spanish pine furniture and Asian elements. In addition to a bamboo sofa and matching floor lamp, this room also comes standard with a desk, which can, of course, be removed upon request before arrival.

The smallest bedroom in the house is also the most popular with many guests. We don't know if this is due to the hand-painted furniture from northern Spain (which may take some getting used to) or the room temperature, which is always lower than in the other rooms.

We named this bathroom "Vintage" because it dates back to the time the house was built. We're considering a complete modernization this coming winter. Let our guests have a say!
→ approx. 6 m² (65 sq ft)
→ bathtub with shower
→ toilet
→ bidet
→ wash basin
→ electric radiators
→ hotel cosmetics (soap, shampoo, shower gel, etc.)
The master bedroom is located on the upper floor and is thus somewhat separated from the rest of the house. Typical Spanish pine furniture dominates here. Both the two windows and the large covered balcony offer unique panoramas of the valley and the mountains.
→ approx. 19 m² + 10 m² (205 sq ft + 108 sq ft)
